Shoes I've been eyeballing

First of all Happy Valentine's day/Galentine's day/"I am single and will stay #foreveralone" day! ♥♥

Here we are again, +1 year later. I have a week off from school and I am enjoying all the free time I have left. To not feel completely useless I figured I would update my blog again. My blog has been neglected for a very long time, as you can see. The reason? Procrastination, laziness, sleep-deprivation and school. Need I say more?

I think I am going to rumble up some good posts this week and I will see where I will go from here. Probably another year or more of abandonment.

Anyway, I have not been digging my wardrobe over the last months (shoes, clothes etc.) I guess it is just the style change one has over the years (or not), and I noticed how many childish, not fit to my style graphic tees I have lying around in my wardrobe. As they are still in a good state I figured I might as well sell them. I think I will try to sell them on a flea market in town and try to get some of the money back. Not sure though how many people are digging some old stuff.

Getting to the main point of the post, my shoe wishlist. Yes, I have been eyeballing some really awesome shoes over the last year/months/weeks whatever. BUT, I must not buy them unless I cough up some money myself (independence FTW) Figure I might as well cough up another blog post while I am at it.

It was not until today that I realized how badly I still wanted (not necessarily needed, heck I have too many shoes) this model shoes. I like the stitching and the tiny heel on the sole. These shoes look so easy to combine, and now I am just wondering how they would fit. These do not necessarily have to be Dr. Martens though. If I catch them on sale once, I will definitely buy them, but if there is another cheaper or nicer alternative, I will take that one. Today I saw a similar pair at the Monki; however, there was only 1 pair left in a size EU 39 *sadface* They were black and had some kind of texture instead of soft leather. If I do take Dr. Martens though, I think they will last a very long time.

Creepers, how long have I been eyeballing you? Too many years. I have seen you on sale so many times, but I was always too late, and I have not found the courage to cough up all the money (even on sale), though I do feel that they are easy to combine (in a neutral colour), and easy to walk in for a student.

These shoes are the Deandri Ginger platforms in black. It does not necessarily have to be these shoes, I would also be happy to buy some Jeffrey Campbell Lita's or Tardy's. All cost a lot of money though, the Deandri's probably more, because of shipping. Basically, I am still looking for some kind of boot with an awesome platform. This does not stand high on my "want" list, because I am not sure how often I would wear it to school. I see myself wearing it a lot more often when I am going to university, because I cannot imagine a tiny girl walking around in such a big building, with many (tall) people.

Actually to put it simply I just want 3 styles of shoes: Flatforms, platforms and chunkier flat shoes (if you can even call that a style).

Hope you enjoyed and do not turn into a shoe-a-holic (to keep your wallet happy)!

xoxo
