2011 is almost over~!

2011 will be over in a couple of hours (and it's already over in the Eastern part of the world. So Happy New Years to those in the East already~♥!) The year has somewhat flown by. A lot of things have happened of course, maybe even more than other years. People die and new baby's are born into this world.

Basically 2011 is the year...
... I had my appendix removed, because it was inflamed. This was also my first operation and my first time staying overnight in a hospital
... One of my rabbits died =( It made me very sad. I stayed up for some nights watching her even though I was exhausted (because I still went to school) But I should always remember, if she had continued living, her life may have not been as fun as it should be and maybe she just couldn't be happy any more with all those health issues she had.
... I went to Cambridge ♥ This was my first trip without my parents to a foreign country Photobucket it was so much fun even though we still had to go to school there and many times I almost fell asleep. But it was so nice being with friends and spending time with them. And the formal dinner was awesome, even though the food was bad (but it was still free..?Photobucket *Asian optimism* lol
... I finally reached the 4th form of VWO, which basically means I'm in my "second phase" of secondary school. So I'm half-way done with my secondary school. I know I still have a long way with studying and all but hopefully I can find the motivation to keep studying so I will have a steady future to live in and be able to support my parents with my own money.
... I failed to get a jobPhotobucket One of the reasons is because I'm way too scared, yes I'm very shy in real life and I don't dare to go somewhere and ask if I can work there. And another reason is I was too young to get a job in the first half of 2011. I know where I want to try to get a job, the only thing I need now is courage. But I have decided the first thing I'll do in the 2012 is go there and ask if they have work for me ^^

And I'm starting to feel lazy now so I'm going to end this post, but there's only one thing left I want to say:
Happy New Year~!
Hope you spend New Year's Eve with your loved ones, spend a lot of time with them, or go party like there's no tomorrow xd kekeke

Resolutions? A bit too good to be true?

So I had quite a list of "resolutions" for this year... But as the title of this post already says... A bit too good to be true?
  1. Keep updating this blog. I've just started so I still have to get used to it and all. Cooping with school and everything else and keep blogging.
  2. Lose weight/fat. This was on my list last year as well, but I failed pretty hard. Let's say I want to lose about 4-5 kg/8.8 lbs or so (if the converter is correct xd)
  3. Try to get as much 8 hours of sleep as I can. It's better for my skin and I also heard that you'll eat more if you don't sleep enough so... who knows.
  4. Exercise everyday. This one is actually related to losing weight/fat. I want to try and run for at least 20 min. every school day. And for about 1 hour in the weekends. Of course I'll run slowly, I would die if I had to run fast for so long :')
  5. Apply sun screen every day. Many make-up gurus keep saying you have to apply sun screen, especially if you're treating acne. I still need to buy a good sun screen, because I think the current one I'm using on my face, breaks me out. Shut out the UV-rays!
  6. I want to sew some clothes. Lol, I don't know if this is influenced by my sister, but I do want to make some simple clothes/things, if I can succeed.
  7. Don't slack off so much! Oh gosh, I slack off way too fast. And especially now, that I've made my life even busier (hehe, I'm an idiot) I can't afford to slack off, otherwise it'll cost me my sleep.
Those were basically my "resolutions". Well, how many did I keep up with...?

I guess I'm one of those stereotype girls that make resolutions, keep it up for 1 month or so. And then fall into their old habits and fail their resolutions.

Yes, I failed pretty much all of my resolutions. But let me try and "make it better" so I'm not completely a failure..?
  1. Updating the blog was kinda hard some times. There were really busy weeks for me with lotsa presentations I had to prepare and exam weeks... I'm starting to feel the pressure already for my final exams, even though they're still so far away... I've also started thinking about what I'm going to do in the future... Which I'm still not sure about.
  2. Somewhere near the summer I started running outside every morning, for about 30 mins. Basically I still had school. And I had to leave for school at 7.30 which means I have to get up at 6.30. But if I want to run for 30 mins. it means I have to get up earlier to get ready and run. So I got up at 5.45 every morning even though I went to bed around 23.30 sometimes. For me that's not enough sleep. I lost weight, I was sort of happy, but I was exhausted. So eventually I understood I shouldn't push myself too hard and get enough sleep (it's probably also better for my studies =) Basically, I did lose weight for a while... But then I went on vacation and stuff... and I don't exercise on vacation and my dad always stuffs me with food so yeah... I gained weight =_= and never found the real "motivation" to exercise again. Oh, I also remembered I was really into ab exercises and all those strength training. I had rock hard abs but then I was out of the running for a while because I got hospitalized =_= and my abs got all pooch-y again... *sigh*
  3. 8 hours of sleep was always a kind of issue to me. Getting up at 6.30 means sleeping at 22.30. Something that became quite impossible as I can't sleep that early... But lately I've been satisfied with at least 7 hours of sleep...? Maybe I will find the motivation one day to go to bed at 22.30 and get up at 5.30 or so x
  4. Exercise... refer to point 2.
  5. This one I kept up, pretty well. Only when I was in a real rush I skipped my sun screen (and rushed out of my house, to school) or sometimes I felt like I would be in the car for a few seconds, and outside for a few seconds and in shop in no time, so I just skipped. This was probably one of the easier resolutions >_<"
  6. Sewing clothes was also pretty much a no-no for me. I'm not really a person that sews I guess. I'm too stupid for it. And I have no time. Maybe in the future when I really, really feel that I like sewing, I will do more. At the moment I'm more into crocheting etc. Learning to knit would also seem nice. =D
  7. Slacking off... Refer to all points above xd kekeke. I guess it's just a part of me. I can't get rid of it. Procrastinating is also a part of me xd especially before tests. I learned I perform better under pressure like: "OMG, I ONLY HAVE 1 HOUR LEFT TO STUDY AND I STILL NEED TO STUDY X PARAGRAPHS O_O *big o-face* FUUUUUUU.jpg
I can't believe I typed this much in such a short time... This really is a random post O_O so I should wrap it up very quickly otherwise you the reader will get bored like hell.. xd wakaka

I'll continue with my New Resolutions for 2012 another post, so see yah! One last camwhore to top it it off!

Merry Christmas (belated one)

So it's been a long time again *sigh* believe me I do have things I want to blog about. There are things in my head, but me being as stupid as I am have problems with getting it on the paper (err, in this case typing it out)

But I just wanted to say:
メリークリスマス! Merry Christmas! Even though it is a bit late :$ Forgive me please. Hope you all had a nice Christmas with all your loved ones, and ate amazingly delicious food and stuffed your face till you couldn't eat anymore. At least I did so =) >_<"

If I had a nice picture I could post I would to make give this post a more Christmas feeling, but I don't so, forgive me again >_<"

Instead I will post a cute picture of my bunny. She's so hen ke ai <3 Love her to death

Photobucket

Okay ah, I lied, I still have an ugly picture of myself I'm going to post. I did photoshop though, the lighting and I put on eyelashes lol omg, looks fake right? Bad quality makes face less ugly xd.

Photobucket

Anyway, I have a Christmas break right now. So I have lotsa time to blog hopefully! I have reviews and hauls and outfit posts.

Also I received an old "new" camera from my uncle. He doesn't use it anymore so I was allowed to use it now =) So I don't have to steal daddy's camera anymore, but still make good quality pictures. Though I still have to experiment a bit with all the functions, but I think it's going to be okay ah!

Wednesday, hopefully the PS3 will arrive at our home and I can finally GAME! OK, I shouldn't game to much and neglect blogging but yeah... I don't know how excited I will be about everything. We shall see.

This post was more rambling, hopefully I'll have other (more interesting) post up soon ^^!

YesStyle haul+mini review

Before I went to Scandinavia (which is quite a long time ago already.. =() I also purchased some (err.. a lot) of clothes at Yesstyle. The reason: BIG SALE!

I absolutely love the clothes. It's a pity I had to pay a lot of tax because it's from outside Europe but I guess it's worth it. (BTW, anyone knows away to avoid tax?)

Short sleeve hooded pullover
Photobucket

This one was actually from the order before this one, which was a few weeks earlier >_<" Yes I know BAD but... the sale had super cute clothes this time which I couldn't just leave. Anyway, this is a cute hoodie/sweater with short sleeves. It has a cute image of a girl holding a teddy bear. The brand is Click. I must say the fabric is quite thick for Asian quality, and it would definitely keep you warm (even though the sleeves are short, but think about that later) It doesn't have a fleece lining though, but this way you can still wear it in spring.

It was in sale for $34.20. At first I was a bit hesitant about buying this but it was worth it since the quality is quite awesome.

Pompom accent hooded cropped cardigan
Photobucket
Lol@foot
First of all I must say this is so soft! The quality quite amazed me... I didn't expect this to be this soft~ I don't exactly know the material since everything on the label is written in Chinese, but they do mention it on the website so for the exact material I advise you to go to the website.

I think this would look great with a jumper in the winter and it would definitely keep me warm =). I am a bit hesitant about wearing it in Spring/Autumn because it may be a bit too warm? (or only when I'm cycling.. keke) I hope the pompoms stay on for a while because on another sweater with pompoms one came off =(

This was $21.00 and it was also on sale ^^ (I think everything I bought was on sale, kekeke) this cardigan is from the brand YUMI.

Photobucket

On the model this looked super cute, I just had to get it. But when I saw it in real life it did disappoint me... It was shorter than I thought (even though I'm only 155cm!) and it doesn't look that good with my legs... I did receive compliments from friends the day I wore this but I still felt it looked weird... also because it was so short =( Maybe you could pull it off if you had long skinny legs like the model... but not with my body shape... though I will try and combine it as good as possible, 'cause I feel like my money got wasted if I don't wear it... (an excuse to get into shape??!!)

But there are still plus sides to it! It has an elastic band (on the back side) so it does fit me well at the waist and the material isn't too thin.

These bloomers were $24.00 from the brand YUMI.

Photobucket

When I saw these shorts on YesStyle I immediately knew I had to get these. They were 50% off (I think and I Love 50% off). They looked super cute on the model and the lace hem gives the shorts a little bit of extra. Plus, I never saw anything like this in stores.

The fabric is quite thick and the shorts are lined with some kind of soft material. It has an elastic band which can stretch widely and it also has a drawstring so you can pull it even tighter if needed, at least I thought it was but it doesn't work that well...

In real life they also look super cute... However, me and my legs issues. They don't look super good (argh, maybe no shorts look good on me... stupid legs ... Lose weight!!). OK that was a bit too subjective but lets get down to the facts.

The crotch is quite high (meaning I can't pull the pants up very high). I wear it very low-waisted and it's still quite short on me (and hello I'm only 155 cm) If you don't mind the shortness (e.g. you have long, skinny legs) I'd recommend it, but otherwise, just leave it.

These were $15.00 from the brand YUMI

Photobucket

Doesn't the rabbit look too cute?! I already own a lot of print tees, so I have to stop buying now. But I just couldn't resist this cute face and the cute pocket bow detailing. And of course the pink colour makes everything even better.

The fabric is thick enough to not be see-through, but I have tees that are thicker than this. But the fabric not being too thick can actually be seen as something positive for in summer: it will feel a lot more breezy when it's hot.

This top was $16.00 and from the brand Catworld. I must say though, YesStyle also has this t-shirt in other colours, from other brands like MayMaylu Dreams.

Photobucket

The bows are really cute right? I just hope they will stay on this top because they're just glued on so... Let's hope for the best!

The top is cropped as you can see and is really cute! I haven't worn this yet... since summer is worst than over.. But I suddenly have an urge to wear this as I'm typing this, with maybe a denim blouse or so? Should try it out...

Not really something bad to say about this (except for the fact it would've been better if the bows were sewn on the top) Of course this is see-through because it's crochet. Just wear a white tank top underneath and you're good to go!

This cost $28.00 which was a bit painful for my money, but I do like this very much and I haven't seen this in any stores near my home. It's from the brand YUMI.

Photobucket

I originally wanted this heart patterend knit top from Zoo but it was a bit too expensive for me, or this one was just way cheaper and Just as cute!

Looks pretty much the same right? But anyways, I chose this one. You can see the hearts more on the one I bought right?

It is quite wide as you can see on the picture, but it's not in an unflattering way. I like the way it looks. The only thing that bothers me when I wear it that the bottom of the top (ok, let's see if I can describe this properly) always goes up for some reason when I want it to stay down. Because if it goes up it looks super baggy and round and wide (which is something I don't like,, wouldn't want to look even wider than I already am) but further on I really like this top. Super cute right! And good quality!

This knit top was $18.00 and from the brand Catworld.

I have ordered from YesStyle before and I must say the shipping is quite fast (probably because it's express shipping). Usually it takes about 2-3 days to come to my doorway. There are unfortunately some times I have to pay tax, and usually that tax is pretty high! =( It makes me sad, because I absolutely love these clothes... (Maybe I should plan a trip to Asia >_<" and buy lotsa cute clothes)

My sister did say that you should order around Christmas because so many people buy things and the Duane has so many packages they have to check, they usually skip out, or the chance "your package" will be selected is a lot smaller... So maybe a tip if you also have the tax problem!

Their packages arrive nicely in a box, if the Duane didn't open the box and took everything out, like they did this time. And the clothes are in nicely folded and packaged in a plastic bag.

I'm quite content with the quality this time. I guess it's because of the brands. Some brands are really cheap Asian quality, but some are awesome! Like these.

Even though I love YesStyle and their clothes so much, probably because I love the Asian brands, I must say it can be quite expensive, compared to what you would normally pay if you were in Asia. However, I'm not in Asia so this is my last option... Or I'd have to order from the factory itself (like Taobao, they sell many clothes) but then I'd have the problem with shipping as well... and I'd even have to order through another person... So much hassle... I just have to move to Asia lah!!

Well, this is it for my "review" quite a long post but yeah.. Eat your heart out! Hope it was helpful in someway. Should study this afternoon =( boo, tests Y U so boring...?

Romwe jewellry wishlist

Today I was surfing on the website Romwe. I'm still not sure about buying anything because I'm in a "money saving mode" and I still need to find a job and make some money. So I figured I'd make a wishlist instead and see if I will buy it sometime, keke.

Romwe has free worldwide shipping (except if you want to have it delivered with Express but that's your own choice, obviously) for any amount of money you spent on clothes. Yay! Products are sent from HK or Shanghai so beware of import duties.

Photobucket
All the pictures are from Romwe
Lots of jewellery >_<" way too much to buy in one shot. Not even sure if I'll buy them but yeah... They're so cute. Most of them are jewellery with animals or so. I have a lot of blog posts in "draft" but I can't find the time to finish them... For instance, I still have a YesStyle haul+review drafted and a Yes to Tomatoes Facial Wash review AND some OOTD's. ARGH I'm so lazy and busy for school every time. I hate you school. Especially tomorrow because you make me stay at school until 16.55 =-=" GRRRRRRR

xoxo

BTW, almost 3000 blog pageviews!!!! WTF that's a lot for a person like me... Big thanks!!!

Love~~

OMG, I suddenly have an urge to buy LITA's (by Jeffrey Campbell), THE Lita's. Yes, I know, quite pricey so I'm just going to wait and see how I think about it after a while.

I first saw Lita's in the videos of clothesencounters (Jenn, was wearing them) and I remember at first I was... "Hmmm, those heels must be freaking high! Meeh, not my style" But after seeing them over and over again I started to fall in love with them >_<" they are gorgeous and definitely (because of my height) give me that extra bit of length I need.

I especially liked this one:
Source: Solestruck

The suede Taupe one.

I don't know why but I usually avoid black. Of course, it is easy to combine, and it's always classy. But I just want to have something different. I chose suede because I like the way suede looks more than just leather (though I think I'd be okay with leather as well, as long as it's not that super-duper shiny) but yeah... Suede is more me I guess.

GAAH I want this so freaking bad. I'm going to use this as a "reward" when I've lost the amount of kgs that I want to lose =) or when I've saved up enough money >_<" (which is probably going to take a long long time) but yeah... I guess the quality is good for the price =)

Going to end this quick blogpost >_<" I haven't been updating a lot but I have ideas in my head which I still have to type so... be patient >_<" school has just been so busy and I had a test week last week (I felt like I was going to die =-=") so yeah...

Hopefully I'll have some time soonies...

xoxo Stay well

(Platform) Shoe hunt

Platform shoes... Shoes I have been wanting for a long time but couldn't find and get, and now I still CAN'T get 'em. Because buying from Taobao can be quite expensive for me >_<" (and I feel bad asking my father to order these for me. Damn I need a job) At these times I wished I lived in Hong Kong or somewhere in China. (Or maybe just somewhere in Asia where they have cute clothes for a good price) I'm super picky shoe-wise. I need to find "THE" perfect shoe, for a good price. Here's an example of cute platform shoes. They are from the Yayashoe Taobao shop. I'm actually not sure about the star print, but I think the blue ones are the cutest (which aren't shown on the picture >_<")

Photobucket

I think platform shoes are awesome because they give you that extra height you need (I need,,, being only 5ft) without the painful experience of walking on killer heels or so. But they don't have them a lot over here (or I just didn't see them) The only time I saw like the ideal platform shoes was in the Monki in Hamburg. They were also in sale for only €10,-! But damn, for once in my life I wished my feet were even smaller than they are now (they're actually quite big for my length, and they're wide =-=" looks really ugly) because I couldn't fit in a size 37! (which I normally fit in perfectly) and there was no size 38 =-= only size 36 shoes were left (the bigger sizes were sold out already I guess..?)

These platforms are a bit less high than the other star printed ones. But these are a bit more casual, with an edgy bit due to the studs. I think I do like the star printed one more. Because it's more different you know, the one above looks more like your every day sneaker with a platform (and studs, the studs make it different) but yeah... I can only look at these pictures thinking I want those shoes until I find the perfect one here. Argh, wish I could order.

Photobucket
More platforms! The last pair is cute.
Next to platform shoes I've also been on a hunt for boots. Yes, winter is around the corner and I've decided to not try and survive the winter with only All Stars+3 layers of socks+therm sole (which holds the heat). I have other boots now but, I don't know why I bought them (Damn, I hate the fact I didn't have a sense of style years ago). The top of the boot ends somewhere on my calf and I think it looks horrible. It's like it adds weight to my calfs (and me no likey because they're Huge already) Plus, they don't have any grip, so when I walk on slippery floors (or walk on snow) big chance I will fall down and hurt myself. So no... these are definitely not winter proof.

But the boots I have been thinking about are either really high (almost thigh high?) or just ankle boots. (actually not sure which of the two kinds I should buy..?) I don't want to buy Uggs, even though they may be nice and warm. But everyone's walking around in Uggs already and I don't think they would flatter my already huge, big, muscle legs.

The quest is hard, but hopefully I shall find my perfect boots this winter, otherwise I won't survive this cold >_<"

BTW, I'm sorry for the lack of posts, I know I've been saying this quite often, but these were the first two weeks of school and I'm already physically drained. I'm actually not sure if I should be blogging now or doing homework. Because actually I'm already studying for my final exams almost 3 years from now (actually less) and for some things I just have to study harder than I did. I just have to study more than previous years (that would be smarter,, gehe)

Monday till Wednesday are late days for me. I'm gone to school from 8.20 till after 17.00 =( and actually I still have to do homework afterwards, but usually I'm so physically drained I can't do anything at all and just want to be lazy. Monday's are ultra-late, because school lasts till 16.55! Then cycling for at least 30 min. and last week I came home at 17.40! Jeez, going to school till 16.55 must be a crime =-=" physically draining children.

Due to all these late school days I've been eating like a madman! It was also due to PMS but next to that there was a lot of stress... Already >_<" I need to eat healthier next week, otherwise I'll also gain weight like a madman.

Ah, I also think I caught a cold... Had a sore throat and my voice was all cracked up (if that's the way you should say it ;) gehe)

Long post, Shall stop now, maybe draft some other posts and then do some homework + exercising... Haven't run in so many weeks due to laziness and after laziness it became stress >_<" OK, time to stop otherwise this post is going to be waaaaaaaay too long...

xoxoxo

Monday 29 August 2011

School starting again...

FML. School is starting again tomorrow =( Vacation was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too short... OK, I had to get my books from school last week already. But tomorrow we're officially starting school (though they were nice enough to skip the first 2 periods. So no school till after 9.55 then the terror begins)

Boo I had to carry 20 (or 23) books on my bicycle back home =( Heavy stuff... And I almost fell off my bicycle >_<"
FML!
Today we had to get our schedule. Turns out on Monday I have to stay at school till 17.00 O_o unless it's changed. Boo Boo Boo #$%@* school.

I'm going to end this short post. I don't feel like doing a lot (probably that time again, causing me to eat non-stop, putting on lots of weight... argh, tomorrow I have to control myself)

Tonight I'll relax (or not? Maybe I should workout >_<) I won't go to bed early xd lol, don't feel like going early. I need to stop rambling like this...

Scandinavia Haul

Long time no blog! I've been away on a 4 week holiday to Scandinavia! Before I've already been MIA due to tests and laziness. I'll try to pick up the blogging again but I can't guarantee anything >_<"

My resolution was to not buy anything in Scandinavia (also because it would be expensive) BUT I couldn't resist sale items and the jacket I bought was necessary so... scold me afterwardsPhotobucket.

Our first stop was in Germany: Bremen. There was a Primark in Bremen but daddy didn't want to go because it was so far away =(

There was a Tally Weijl in Bremen and there was sale so we took a look around. And I found these 3 t-shirts for a bargain. Seriously it was super cheap.

Photobucket

This strawberry t-shirt was super cheap! Only €3,- At first I didn't want to buy anymore t-shirts because I already have a lot  (well, at least I call it a lot) But my sister practically convinced me to get it, and it was only €3,- anyway so why not?

Photobucket

This was the 2nd t-shirt I picked out. €3,- or €5,- either way, a bargain. The bunny is so cute, and I can actually wear this as a t-shirt dress since it's this long on me.

Photobucket

On top of the already reduced items. There was also a buy 3 get 1 for free (the cheapest will be free) And since I already had 3 t-shirts, why not buy a 3rd one, which will be FREE (Yay I love free stuff!) This was either €3,- or €5,- (I remember 2 t-shirts were €3,- and one was €5,- but I don't remember which, only sure that the strawberry one is €3,-) The mouse is cute right? Photobucket

Then we walked to the H&M because we saw there was sale over there as well ^^. And then I bought this cropped t-shirt.

Photobucket

I saw this t-shirt in another H&M in Holland but it was still for normal price, and I thought it was a bit too pricey for what you get, and it wasn't like I really, really wanted this cropped t-shirt. But now it was only €5,- which was: bargain, score!Photobucket

Figured I had bought enough that day and tried to stop myself from buying more stuff. In the evening we ate delicious Thai food at Pochana. It was delicious. absolutely lovely! We ordered the Masaman curry (since we didn't know what it was) Green curry and Yellow curry. All three were delish! Nom nom. The wait was kinda long but it was worth it. And the toilets were super clean! They had a self-changing toilet seat cover O_O like super clean! Felt super bloated afterwards, but happy that I'd eaten some real good Thai food.

The next day we went to Lübeck and I didn't buy anything! *proud* And after Lübeck we stopped in Copenhagen, and since it was Sunday there were almost no shops open =( Bummer. But I must say Copenhagen is a nice city ^^

Next stop was Stockholm. Stockholm has a lot of shops. But! I had to restrain myself to not buy too much. Though I did end up buying a pair of checked shorts.

Photobucket

These were 150 SEK (which is around €13) I like checked shorts and the colour combi is nice. The fabric is quite thick (though not as thick and "stiff" as real denim fabric, but thicker than you would expect) It fits me almost perfect (Yay, even though my waist is quite tiny) and it's just so comfy and cute. This was from a store called BikBok (nice store, didn't know it until then)

The first day in Stockholm was beautiful weather, the next day: Rain =(

After we Stockholm we drove to Norway. I managed to not buy stuff until Ålesund (correct spelling?) where I bought a pink baseball jacket.

Photobucket

I've been wanting a baseball jacket, but a lot of people already wear a red one (you know all those standard colours) but I haven't seen anyone (in my region) with a pink one yet, so I thought: Score! It was a pity it didn't have a fleece lining but I still like it anyway. I was kinda hesitant about buying it at first because I felt bad spending more money (I already spent so much =() but I still ended up buying it >_<" bad me. This was 150 NOK (not too bad I guess?)

We also went to the Dale factory near Bergen. I saw a nice hoodie for 930 NOK which was waterproof. BUT I didn't buy it in the end because it was a bit too pricey for me (Norwegian sweaters are expensive =() and I was afraid I wouldn't wear it often...

Anyway I bought some high-waisted shorts in I think Andalsnes? At the BikBok (such a nice shop with good sale!)

Photobucket

Only 100 NOK! Me likey, but now I have to stop buying shorts xd lol I have like 9 pairs or so.

Because we couldn't go to Oslo we stopped at Hamburg (Germany) before going home =(. I had never been to Hamburg but the shops are quite good I must say!

Photobucket

I needed a new jacket for spring/autumn so I bought this in the sale. My dad practically dragged me to the part they sold jackets because there was like a big sale. This jacket was reduced from €120 to €28.79! He was like, buy it it looks so good on you it fits you and it's cheap! (Lol, dad is a cheapass Asian) but I do like the jacket, it's not too long and it has pockets, and it's the kinda jacket I wanted to have ^^

Photobucket

I also bought this pair of jeans. They are from the Miss Sixty. And honestly I didn't need anymore jeans but for some reason my dad and sis keep pushing me into buying more and saying afterwards: "If you have so much WHY ARE YOU BUYING?!" Tche it's all their faultPhotobucket  (lol at smiley) But I like the colour of the jeans and the little detail in the knee area. I was surprised it fits me because usually my big thighs are a huge problem (that's why I need to slim down those bad ass thighs) =-= but luckily this is stretch so it does fit ^^. The jeans were reduced to €40.

I also bought a pair of earrings (stars) but I didn't take a good picture >_<" so no picture. They were only €2 so I thought... Why not?

Ending my haul now. I'm sorry for the long post with lotsa pictures (notice how I got lazy near the end) and sorry if the pictures look kinda boring >_<" After all the editing I don't feel like putting on any special effects (even more time consuming)

I will try not to procrastinate as much as I did (probably is due to the fact that editing costs a lot of time, even though I do it in a noobish way).. BTW I even took pictures of the stuff I bought in Paris but that was like LONG ago,,, doesn't make a lot of sense to blog about it now right?

Well, all's well ends well...

On Hiatus again...

I'm sorry, that I haven't been blogging in weeks again >_< I'm SO BAD. Making it even worse I'm also having my real, official vacation now so I won't be able to blog either... For another 4 WEEKS O_o Say whut! Yeah, I'm telling the truth. I'm sorry that I'm such a bad blogger, it's just that I've been so lazy these days (even lazier than before... probably because school's over and I'm school-free for 6 weeks =D OH YEAH) =-=

I promise when I get back I will try to blog every day (OK, maybe I'm making promises I can never keep =(). But when I get back I also have to go job hunting, I NEED MONEY (I feel spoiled using dad's money, so I should start re-paying "debts")

I also have to practice music again, more often, hardcore way (1 hr minimum. =)) and I also have lotsa ideas to blog about,,, not to forget I also need to try and lose weight again (probably going to gain all the weight I lost over the past months/weeks (even though it has been going up and down) =-= awh,,, so scared to weigh myself when I get back (even though weight doesn't matter "that" much, as long as you look good, but I don't look good and my weight sucks so...) Yeah... I'll do a Good update when I get back and have more time to blog away >_<

xx

Bonus picture: Ugly webcam pic Arrr,,, not photogenic at all *sigh*

Have a nice vacation everyone! Stay well =)

Crochet projects

Since it's almost summer vacation I can do anything I want =) Get crafty crafty. I'll show a list of things I want to make.

Totoro
When I saw this on YouTube I immediately knew I wanted to make this. For reference I'll just post pictures, but remember: I didn't make these cute Totoro's ^^ They're from the same person as the one who posted the pattern (I'll put the link below)

Totoros5

Copyright goes to heavens-hellcat.
And for the grey Totoro I've also got a YouTube video of someone who made all 3 of them (Gray, Blue and White) but she used the pattern for the blue one and then modified it. I also read that one person just took a bigger hook and heavier yarn, and then followed the pattern instructions and the Totoro turned out bigger as well. But since I only have 1 size hook (if I get serious I may invest in more, but for now...) and 1 ball of yarn... So I'm just experimenting a bit...

Here's the video of someone showing her self-made Totoro (I can't paste the video for some reason, so here's the link >_<) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmfNlpHmq-o&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

Awh, Totoro is so cute >3<

Domo-kun
When I was searching the Internet I also found this pattern of Domo-kun He's awesome. I only need to buy some brown yarn and I'm ready to go. And I need to figure something out about the eyes >_< Pictures are also on the site. I'll post my own pictures as soon as I finish them (if I finish them over the summer >_<)

Argh I have to study =-= I have a test week and there are some subjects I really want to get good marks for, otherwise I feel like I'm doomed next year =-= so... Wish me luck. Hope I have a good karma, and I hope I'll blog soon... And Sorry I've skipped another 5 days of blogging >_< I'm super bad blogger I know. That's why I only have such few followers, though I am proud I at least have some xd.... Anyway

Dr. Organic Vitamin E Scar & Stretch mark serum

IMG_2366

I bought this Serum quite a while ago, because I figured I needed a serum for that extra hydration etc. Why not use extra cream against scarring with it since I get lotsa scars due to annoying pimples (but it has improved really well lately, but I don't know why.)

If you didn't know yet, Dr. Organic is Paraben free, SLS free and it doesn't contain artificial colours, fragrances or harsh preservatives. And Dr. Organic doesn't test on animals.

What does it promise? Well, this serum claims to be:
  • Hydrating
  • Restoring
  • Regenerating
  • Protecting
And it's naturally moisturising. Here's what it says on the back of the box:
In combination with a complex proprietary blend of bioactive, natural and organic ingredients including Demochlerra DP (tested for use on scars and stretch marks), this podent restoring and hydrating cream absorbs into the effected epidermal subcutaneous cell matrix to instantly nourish and regenerate, restoring the skins natural moisture levels to give scars and stretch marks a smoother more tonned and radiant appearance.

This serum contains the bioactive, natural and organic ingredients: Vitamin E, Aloe Vera Juice, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Lotus Flower Extract, Chlorella Extract, Beeswax, Lemon Peel Oil (lemon smell? :)) Amino Acid Complex, Lemon Grass Oil, Elemi Oil, Liquorice Extract and Green Tea (Onomnom)

I don't know all the effects of all these ingredients. I only know Vitamin E helps restoring skin tissue (or something in that direction) Aloe Vera is cooling (but it doesn't necessarily cool my skin) and Shea Butter can moisturise your skin (correct me if I'm wrong >_<)

Photobucket
Awesome picture taking skills =-=

My opinion:
The texture is not like any other serums, usually a serum is liquid (almost liquid) and this is more like a cream.

I think this serum works really well: it leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I also noticed my scars started fading after a while, so it does fade the scars =) I LOVE the smell, it smells like lemons, nice and fresh =)

I always use this serum in combination with my other Dr. Organic cream. I think this one smells nicer but I guess that's personal opinion (I like lemon smell ^^)

You really don't need a lot of cream. I usually use about a pea size, bit more. Your skin absorbs the cream quite fast, which is absolutely a pro.

The serum definitely lightens scars, I've been using it for quite a while and I paid extra attention to some scars on my face, and I noticed they're gone!

I'm very positive about this serum in a sense of it being a cream, but I don't know if other (more liquid and intense) serum will be better.

Something for you if:

  • You are looking for an all organic serum
  • You have sensitive skin and you can't use other serums (which I doubt)
  • You like serums smelling of lemon
  • Lighten your scars.
Skip it if:
  • You think £8.19 is too expensive for a 50 ml tube of serum
  • You want a FAST lightening cream. This lightening process is not very fast so...
Not many negative points... I must say I've never tried any other scar lightening creams/oils. And I don't know if Bio-Oil works better for scars so maybe you should do some more research on that. I'd say, if you want to have it more expensive just go for Bio-Oil and if not, go for something from Dr. Organic! Or just anything with Vitamin E oil. (or just pure vitamin E oil =))

I hope this review was somewhere useful... I'm a sucker I know >_< Sorry! I forgot the price but I searched it on Google and found that it was £8.19 pounds on Holland and Barrett (also it has a buy one get one for half the price) so... This is your chance if you want to try.

Yes I'm rambling about everything... sorry...  Now it's study time again... So proud of myself blogging 4 days straight xd yes it's very hard for me,,,

Purchased stuff Cambridge

Onto the REAL Haul now ^^ Finally Photobucket

Photobucket
Perfect high-waisted shorts?

Photobucket
I like the buttons ^^. Sorry for the fuzzy picture >_<
So starting off with my Primark purchases. When I saw these shorts I was like: "OMG, I NEED THESE!" But then the size issues came, I couldn't find a UK size 8 >_<! But luckily a friend of mine found size 8 (which is actually still a bit big... but these shorts were just amazing I had to have it and it's not like it's way and WAY to big ^^. I've been looking for high-waisted shorts for quite a while (still looking for more, I think I'm hooked!) and these were just perfect ^^ the buttons are also very pretty. I remember the shorts being £10.00

Photobucket
Cute~!

Photobucket

When I saw this cardigan I just fell in love with the hearts <3 it's not just your ordinary grey cardigan, no it also has cute hearts in different colours.Photobucket I bought a couple of sizes bigger because I like oversized cardigans (it's not a drama when you buy cardigans a bit bigger I think) and because I practically ran away with this one (when I went to look for the price, because this one didn't have a price tag I couldn't find it anymore so I guess this was the last one?) I think it cost £12.00 or so? Between £12.00 and £15.00?

I also bought over-knee socks, but I forgot to take pictures of them so yeah. Anyway, I'm wearing them in my OOTD which I posted yesterday so take a look there if you want. If not, I'll try to describe it: They were one size, but I figured since I'm so tiny they'll definitely be over-knee (I've been wanting to have over-knee socks, because the knee high were too short in my personal opinion,,, I expected them to be over-knee when they weren't) the colour is grey and it has small bows all over the socks.

Photobucket

I also bought this nail polish. I've been wanting to buy a Coral colour for quite a while and now I have it and I loveee it =) I think the price was £3.00 but I'm not sure anymore >_<

Photobucket
Bad picture >_< Sorry!
And last but not least I have bought a Cambridge sweater in Light Blue. It's sort of a tradition in our school to buy a Cambridge sweater when going to Cambridge so, of course I had to have one as well! It's so nice and warm and comfy. They have a lot of colours but I already knew I would want something Violet or Light Blue and so I went for Light Blue. At first I tried on the XS (since I'm tiny) but my head was too big and I had a hard time putting out my sweater >_<. I was afraid I had the same problem with the S but I have a good method now and I don't have any problems. Luckily the S doesn't look too big on me. It's oversized but not that much. I bought the sweater on the market, because the teachers said it's cheaper there, but later I found a shop where it was cheaper (£15.00) The sweater on the market cost £20.00.

Yay for me who has done 3 straight days of blogging. I drafted a lot, so that's probably why =) I'm sure that I won't be able to keep this up anymore. Especially with a test week in 2 weeks. I know I'm going to pass my 3rd year, but yeah... Parents always have their expectations and I must say: I will be bothered if I don't do well in some subjects...

I think next week is going to be a peaceful week, or at least I hope... I'm going to make a present for my sister, I'm afraid I'm running out of time so maybe I should spend my free time on that...? Maybe not a lot of blogging anyway =((?

Argh, gotta do homework now, actually... Stop procrastinating...

xxx

PS. I hope when it's summer holiday I have the motivation to create my own layout and create a new banner (this one sucks and the layout looks a bit childish weird,,, idk) so yeah... bear with it for a while >_<????

My trip to Cambridge~

I'm ashamed... I haven't blogged in almost 2 months! *hits herself* Shame Shame Shame... That's way and way too long, I know. But now I'm trying to get back on track again. I have many hauls to do, but it'd be boring if I'd only blog about hauls, so I'm going to try and bring in some variety. There are also some reviews coming up =) Anyway, moving on...

My school organises a trip to Cambridge for all the bilingual students every year. And then we go for 5 days with the 2 bilingual classes. This year it was my turn =D Yeahhh! We did have to go to school in the morning (which was a new experience but also kinda boring sometimes =-=" but yeah..) and in the afternoon we could go shopping and in the evening we had some activities.

The first day me and my friends got lost many times >_< Yes, I'm a n00b in roads... But I blame the buses!

In the evening we went bowling in the Cambridge Leisure Centre. I came in 2nd place with my friend. (But I could've been 2nd place on my own >_< ! ARgh if only I didn't miss my target...) Anyway, after the bowling we could go into the "gambling" section. I didn't waste my money on that~ luckily. One of my friends got a very cute Yoshi cuddly toy (stuffed animal?) using the grab machine thingy. The Toad also looked very cute, only his head was too heavy, so it was practically impossible for us to get Toad out =( Bummer...

Students from my class loved the Air Hockey section xd lol, so much fun! Students VS. Teachers  Photobucket.

The 2nd day me & friends rushed to the Primark. I'll show my purchases down below. We had to catch the movie quite early (movie was in Cambridge Leisure Centre), in fact we were late and at first we weren't allowed to go in anymore, but the teachers got the boss and we managed to get in. We could choose between 2 movies: Water for Elephants and Thor in 3D. I wished I had chosen for Thor, because... Seriously... I thought Water for Elephants sucked >_< There was too much violence (it became quite annoying in the end) and I thought it was kinda weird...

Me no likey his movie >_<!
Afterwards some went to the gambling part again. Me & friends who stayed at the same host family figured we'd take an 'early' bus "home" but in the end it was still quite late by the time the bus finally came >_<.

The 3rd day was our "day off" (at least the morning was free of activities) (we could sleep in a little) and on the 3rd day I bought my Cambridge sweater (tradition!) and had Starbucks Frap (nomnomnomnom) I visited Poundland xd lol, but didn't buy anything. In the afternoon we had to visit, ultra-boring museums. *sigh* and afterwards we went Punting. Yay for me who (in the end) was able to punt ^^ with a bit of practice you can manage. Though it caused lotsa muscle pain in my arms >_< arm flab. The evening was free, and an opportunity to eat at our host family. Eating chips (French Fries) >_< arrr.

On the 4th day we had Formal dinner at St. Catharines. The food was OK, not delicious, not gross (even though most people thought the food was gross).

The 5th day we still had 1 lesson and we received our certificate. And we left Cambridge between 13.30 and 14.00 I think. Being home felt kinda sad because I loved Cambridge, but home is always good I guess ^^.

Yes I'm trying to keep up the blog, and when you start again the ideas keep coming and coming. But working out the ideas can be very time lurking >_< and I've been very busy lately, there was a period when I had 1 test a day and I feel like the past couple of months have been about working out only >_< I've been quite active in one way and lazy in the other way.

I've been failing my toning workout part. But I've started running/jogging for 45 min. every morning (=> resulting in getting up at 5.35) some days I'm just too tired to do anything... and sometimes I just skip running but I try to run as much as possible, otherwise I'll never lose weight and get the "dream-body" as to say...

Maybe I should work more in the weekends at midnight xd... Or should I get more sleep~!

xoxo Stay well

The Sleepy Ninja addicted to Cupcakes and all unhealthy stuff~

OK, OK, one picture to close it all,,, of me eating a toast with a big layer of jam (SUGAR!!!)

Yes I look tired, I didn't sleep a lot and the bed was a bit weird but yeah xd Cambridge sweater =D?

Heavenly soap~

First of all, Happy Easter~ I'm a bit late, but whatever~

Moving on to the soap, something I bought quite a while ago... but I just have to blog about it. This amazing Nivea soap =)

IMG_2440

IMG_2472

With milk proteins and the scent of passion fruit

OK, I admit, it's lame to look at an empty package :') and the pictures are quite a fail =( boo. I tried..?

Anyway, when my sister and me saw this in store we were both like: "hmm, sounds so delicious" (and it was friggin cheap! €1.00 =D) and when we got home and we opened the package: "IT IS FRIGGING DELICIOUS!) So happy we bought it.

The soap looks soooo sweet pink and the passion fruit smell is so nice and sweet... YUM YUM I can finally smell nice xd LOL. And the good thing is: I'm not allergic (Hooray!) so girls with sensitive skin... Try it out if you're in for sweet soap.

I don't really know if it's still available... (why the hell am I blogging about it) since I bought it with reduction.. so keep searching and see if you can get it for a good price (if you want to have it)

I also saw it in the scent: Green tea and cucumber. But I'm not a super fan of cucumber smell and I think it's more for a "cooling" effect so we didn't buy that one.

Going off-topic now... Since yesterday I'm trying to run for at least 30 mins. a day at a very slow speed, because I absolutely DON'T want anymore muscle >_< that would be one of my biggest terrors. I also want to buy a jumping rope so I can rope jump in between to burn some extra calories. (and when I go to Cambridge I can easily take it with me to keep myself "in shape") so yeah... I know I should be patient, but I'm not, I'm depressed if I don't see results fast, but I have to wait. I know it... nothing will happen that fast, especially losing fat >_< muahua wait till my fat is gone and you see my super-abs (not)

Hopefully I can blog a lot this week,,, but next week and the week after will be a bit difficult since I'll be going to Paris next week (Yay) and to Cambridge the week after >_< (Lotsa fun~!) so I have to see if I pre-write some things and automatically post it. Or type some things on daddy's newly bought iPad =)

xoxo

Argh why did I decide to "lose fat" when it's Easter and everywhere I look there are chocolate eggs and delicious Oishi food >_< aaaaaaaaaahhh
